Music & Soul offers several group programs that utilize musical and non musical interventions to support a variety of communities within New Brunswick.

Fam Jam Program

Raising children takes a team, and village! Music & Soul recognizes this and offers a parent and family support group that uses Community Music Therapy approaches to:

  • Manage Stress & Fatigue

  • Manage Emotional Regulation

  • Increase Social Resources

  • Enhance Community

  • Enhance Family Bonds and Ties through Musicking!

Note to Point Program

This is a Community Music Therapy support group that provides Neurologic Music Therapy and Vibroacoustic Therapy services to peoples dealing with Chronic and Neurologic diagnoses. The interventions are used to address:

  • Chronic Pain

  • Communication/Speech

  • Cognition

  • Motor functioning

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Global functioning.

Circle of Sound Program

This Community Music Therapy Program is designed to offer musical, and non musical therapeutic support to onsite or offsite First Responders. This program is designed to:

  • Promote Self Expression

  • Promote Community

  • Enhance Coping Strategies

  • Reduce Work Related Activators

  • Enhance Group Bonds

Inner Song Recovery

This Community Music Therapy Program is designed to offer musical, and non musical therapeutic support to people recovering from substance or behavioural dependancies. This program is designed to:

  • Offer alternative, secure and confidential community support

  • Offer musical and non music coping strategies for urges and cravings

  • Offer musical and non musical strategies for managing emotional regulation

  • Offer consistent support within and outside of Facility Treatment
